OPTIMUM project participated in the General Assembly of TransformingTransport project in Spain and presented its recent achievements in the field of proactive freight charging.
OPTIMUM’s technical partners that are currently working on proactive charging schemes pilot (IP, TIS, Luis Simoes) are deepening cooperation with TransformingTransport project mainly in terms of how to share data with each other. Approaches towards deploying models might vary in several ways, but the sharing of experience and results can be beneficial and educational for partners from both projects.
OPTIMUM alongside with more than 100 Big Data experts was invited to the project’s General Assembly meeting in Madrid, Spain. This three-day event took place on 29-31 January 2018. Further collaboration opportunities were investigated in the field of dynamic and proactive toll charging in highways in Portugal and beyond through showing OPTIMUM’s pilot successfully applied in the Luis Simoes’ freight fleets innovation.
